Sistina’s former hospital “Mala Bogorodica” will be readapted into an infectious diseases unit where 100 COVID-19 patients can be treated. The Ministry of Health will be in charge, it was agreed Sunday evening at a meeting of Health Minister Venko Filipce with the owners of three private hospitals in Skopje.

That hospital will be fully equipped, oxygen will be install, which will be done in a few days. Everyone will help with materials, with the capacities they have. Projections are that it will start working by the end of the week. The staff that will work there is entirely from the teams of the three private hospitals, and the cost will be covered by the state, explained Minister Venko Filipce.
