Jasna Mandic, defendant in the “International Association” case, at today’s court hearing where the prosecution read viber communication from her phone, said that one of them was not hers, but forwarded communication from Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and his former adviser Zoran Basanovic, who allegedly was looking for connections for her not to go in detention.

Prosecutor Milica Gavrilova had no comment.

In the viber communication, Basanovic asks Zaev to see if he could anything so that Jasna doesn’t go in detention, and Zaev says: “You know that it depends on the prosecution and the court. I will see what I can do.”

Mandic was placed under house arrest, and prosecutor Vilma Ruskovska then clarified that this measure for Mandic is because he has a child with health problems.
