VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski expressed his gratitude to the citizens who are joining the daily opposition protests against the Zaev regime. Mickoski called on all others to join the protests, to stop Macedonia’s losing streak, which he said is caused by Zaev and his policies.

Macedonia’s defeats will stop only when Zaev is defeated and that will require we unify. I call on you, regardless of your political and ideological positions, but who feel humiliated and ashamed by these diplomatic policies pursued by Zaev, to stand by us and resist it, Mickoski said.

Mickoski said that the protests are only the first step toward bringing down Zaev’s Government. VMRO-DPMNE credits the protests with stopping Zaev’s already announced surrender to Bulgaria on policies of national identity and history. In his BGNES interview, Zaev clearly announced that he is willing to accept all Bulgarian demands, but since then he didn’t deliver, and today Bulgaria announced officially vetoed Macedonia’s EU accession talks.

Unified we can stop the sale of our identity, our uniqueness, our history, customs and tradition. We need to stop the selling out of the rights of our Macedonians living in our eastern neighbor, and in all our neighboring countries, Mickoski said.
