VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski declared that the future VMRO led Government will reverse any decisions Zoran Zaev makes that are contrary to historic facts, including his offer to scape World War Two memorial plaques of any mention of “Bulgarian fascist occupiers”.

As soon as we defeat you, with the people behind us, I’m prepared to correct all of your historic mistakes. Returning the plaques that reflect the true history, which Zaev now says he will edit, will be among the first mistakes we correct, Mickoski said.

Zaev’s new policy toward Bulgaria, which indicates his readiness to accept any demand Bulgaria puts forward, caused a rift in his own SDSM party, that used to be the main promotor of Macedonia’s partisan struggle against Bulgaria during the Second World War.
