As a new face on the main political scene in Macedonia, which emerged just over two years ago when he succeeded Nikola Gruevski as VMRO-DPMNE’s leader, Hristijan Mickoski has the highest growth in ratings among citizens, according to the latest polls conducted at the request of some media.

The results of Detector’s poll, as well as that published ten days ago on MKD.mk, show that Zoran Zaev is a politician with the most confidence, but with a drop in the ratings. Mickoski, on the other hand, is a politician who has significantly increased confidence among the citizens in a year.

Polls conducted last year showed that the VMRO-DPMNE president enjoyed a 2.9 percent confidence among the people, which increased to 12.1 percent in a year.

According to Telma’s poll published on May 30, 2018

Figures show that citizens’ confidence in Zaev is dropping. Of the 24.1 percent of last year, 14.5 percent of citizens now trust Zaev.

According to the Detector’s poll, published on September 29, 2019

Recent polls, conducted at the request of the MKD.mk news portal and the “Detector” show, show that VMRO-DPMNE is in the lead over SDSM. If parliamentary elections were held tomorrow / next week, most of the citizens would vote for VMRO-DPMNE.

These results are just a confirmation that SDSM and Zoran Zaev did not meet the expectations of the citizens and the promises they made. The figures confirm people’s disappointment in current government policies that make it clear they want change.
