VMRO-DPMNE official Antonio Milososki says that at least two of the SDSM party members of Parliament and two judges were deeply involved in the racketeering scandal. Milososki is part of the opposition team negotiating on the changes to the state prosecutor services, after the scandal exposed them as rotten to the core.

We have at least two members of Parliament from the ruling majority who are heavily involved. Also, at least two judges, and their close relatives, who are lawyers, that are involved. Additionally, a number of officials of the central and local Government have been part of this. This answers the question why Zaev is so nervous. During the talks, whenever we would mention that the next Special Prosecutor will need to look into the racketeering scandal, Zaev immediately changed the subject, and would reject our proposals, Milososki said.

Milososki also said that, during the recent failed talks, Zaev announced that Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva will be released from detention within 10 days. “How is it that a Prime Minister knows what decision will the courts make days in advance”, Milososki asks.
