Labor and Welfare Minister Mila Carovska is in the news over receiving public procurement contracts again. Her unwed husband Goran Georgievski won a bid worth a million denars (16.000 EUR) from the city of Skopje, led by the same SDSM party.

As in the previous episodes of the scandal, Georgievski’s company Flaj won the bids to provide drone flying services, reports the Lider.mk news site. The contracts was signed between Georgievski and Skopje Mayor Petre Silegov two weeks ago.

Carovska tried to hide the contracts her unwed husband is receiving from public institutions in her financial report, which she is obliged to provide and which must list her direct earnings and those of her closest relatives. Spouses are covered by the report, but Carovska did not disclose the contracts by Georgievski, although he is her long term partner.
