Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13 will be questioned by organized prosecutor Vilma Ruskoska today, in a first such move after he was arrested in mid July, sparking a major political crisis.
The cross dressing showman is charged with extorting millions from businessmen, using his ties to ex-Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva and officials from the ruling SDSM party. Janeva was detained more than a month after his arrest, and a number of Boki’s friends and associates such as Frosina Remenski, Aleksandar Kiracovski, Lila Filipovska, Agapi Dika, but also victims such as Siljan Micevski and Zoran Azmanov were also interrogated.
While detained, both Boki 13 and his alleged accomplice Zoran Mileski – Zoki Kicheec would frequently be taken for medical examinations. This prompted rumors that both they, and Janeva, are busy negotiating with the Government to help cover up the scandal in exchange for lesser penalties. The very fact that Ruskoska hasn’t interrogated Boki 13 in over two months led to allegations of an attempted cover up.
