Branko Geroski, a once reliably pro-Zaev journalist who was dismissed as editor in chief of the Sloboden Pecat newspaper after several editorials critical of the Prime Minister, said that he will not allow to be silenced.

– I’m grateful to my friends and colleagues who came out in support . This encourages me to re-dedicate myself to my work and to fight for the values of liberal journalism. I’m not disturbed by the glee and the lies of the supporters of the Government. Starting tomorrow, I will be publishing my editorials at the Plusinfo news site, Geroski said.

Geroski is a feature in Macedonian print journalism. He was strongly supportive of Zaev and his SDSM party throughout the Colored Revolution, and his newspaper was seemingly founded to provide media backing to Zaev, which was quickly rewarded after Zaev took over the Government.

But recently Geroski was feuding with other Zaev supporting journalists, and ended his long running cooperation with one of the main attack dogs of the Zaev regime.
