MP and Vice President of VMRO-DPMNE, Aleksandar Nikoloski, stressed Thursday on TV 24 that if we see in the short run, unfortunately we will not win this battle with Bulgaria.

I think that in the long run we can win it, but we need more courage, settling domestic affairs and good lobbying outside, said Nikoloski.

He said that today they will submit an item on the agenda where they will seek information on the course of negotiations with Bulgaria, as well as the establishment of a National Strategy regarding the problem with Bulgaria, because, as he said, the government does not attend the committee’s discussions. He says that we will ask at the plenary session to build a common position and a strategic path for the future process that should be a consensus of all political parties.

It is not possible for the so-called non-paper to come out in Austria without anyone in Macedonia knowing how it is possible in Bulgaria and Karakachanov, and Zaharieva and Borisov to give five statements a day on this issue, and in Macedonia there is no statement, how is it possible in Bulgaria for the president of the opposition party to be informed and to have a consensus on the issue with Macedonia, and for us to find out from the news, no one informed us about anything, Nikoloski criticized.

Nikoloski stressed that Zaev is the biggest exponent of Bulgarian politics in Macedonia, and that any compromise with history is a threat to the future of the Macedonian people.
