VMRO-DPMNE deputy leader Aleksandar Nikoloski said that the opposition party will rely on the German ruling CDU party to help prepare policies following the April 2020 elections in Macedonia and to also help reverse the damage caused by the Zaev regime. Nikoloski accompanied opposition leader Hristijan Mickoski in Leipzig, for the CDU summit where they met German political leaders from the right.

We discussed all the harmful policies introduced by the Zaev Government, their crime and corruption, their attempts to spread fake news and the panic they are in right now. The new, VMRO-DPMNE led Government will work with CDU to bring German investment in Macedonia and it is crucial that we create new, well paid jobs. Our second goal will be to restore a strong rule of law system and fight corruption, Nikoloski said.
