Under SDSM, Macedonia has seen two and a half foreign investments, and even these were the result of negotiations started by VMRO-DPMNE, said the deputy leader of the opposition party Aleksandar Nikoloski. Nikoloski blamed the SDSM led Government of fully dismantling the very efficient foreign direct investment team put in place by VMRO-DPMNE, which was able to bring dozens of western manufacturing companies in the pre-built industrial zones across Macedonia.

And now we have just two companies who have invested and a third that is about to, Nikoloski said.

He compared the dismal results of the Zaev regime in bringing FDI to the country, saying that even Kosovo is having twice as much investments coming into the country, despite having a third of the budget set aside to bring manufacturing companies in Macedonia.
