Only early elections can put in place a stable Government that will be able to handle the deep problems Macedonia is facing, said VMRO-DPMNE Vice President Aleksandar Nikoloski.

If we allow this coalition to remain in place for two and a half years more, the problems will multiply and become so difficult to resolve, it will take years. We say, let’s cut the cycle, hold elections and prepare a competent team which will handle the challenges we have. I hope that the new SDSM party leader will ask his group in Parliament to support early elections, Nikoloski said.

The survival of the SDSM – DUI coalition is uncertain, as SDSM is replacing its leader Zoran Zaev with little known former telecom executive Dimitar Kovacevski.
