There is no shift in terms of differences over the law on the public prosecutor’s office, the government has acknowledged. Unlike the optimism that the Minister of Justice has expressed recently, and that even without VMRO DPMNE, the law will be adopted, today she said there was nothing new. But not in terms of the negotiations with VMRO-DPMNE, but in terms of securing a two-thirds majority, which is necessary for the law to pass. This means that the eight of the so-called independent MPs from VMRO DPMNE are not sure whether they will support the law – otherwise blocked due to the part of the SPO.

There is still no shift since the last statement, but there are daily contacts and attempts to secure a two-thirds majority, Deskoska said.

VMRO DPMNE’s position remains unchanged. They do not intend to be accomplices, as they say, in support of SPO’s crime, referring to the illegal processing of cases after June 30, 2017 by the team of Janeva. Among them is the “Talir” case, which blocked the property of the opposition party.

Although they knew that after June 30, they should not file charges and collect evidence, they continued, and even filed charges before the court, threatening the human rights of certain individuals, did damage, and now they want our support for amnesty, the first man of the working group of VMRO DPMNE on SPO, Menkinoski told Pressing.mk.

VMRO-DPMNE’s amendments refer to a large part of Article 105, which the government interprets as the opposition’s fight for a hidden amnesty. According to Menkinoski, their position is, on the contrary, an effective fight against crime and quality judiciary reforms. He also emphasizes that the VMRO DPMNE negotiation team counted about 40 people, while SDSM was represented by Deskovska, which reflects their approach to the prosecution issue.
