During the 30-day state of emergency, the interim government of the Republic of Macedonia adopted a total of 120 decrees having the force of law, said Professor of Constitutional Law Dimitar Apasiev, emphasizing that only 40 of them refer strictly to fighting and dealing with the consequences of the coronavirus.

The other 80 have nothing to do with what is happening to us. Plus, the president, unconstitutionally, gave them another 30 days to adopt such decrees, through the so-called “re-declaration of state of emergency” – something unknown in constitutional law!? Therefore, tomorrow we will submit an initiative to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Macedonia for annulment of this illegal decision of Pendarovski, warns Apasiev.
