Albanian organizations are preparing a protest tomorrow to demand the release of the group of terrorists which attacked the city of Kumanovo in 2015. The protests are planned for the anniversary of the attack in which eight Macedonian police officers were killed by the heavily armed terrorist group.

Ten of the terrorists were also killed, and about 30 of them are imprisoned, but in reality, they control the Sutka prison near Skopje and issue political threats and demands.

The group was led by Muhamed Krasniqi – commander Maliseva, Mirsad Ndrecaj – commander NATO, Sami Uksini – commander Begu and several other Albanian nationalist commanders, who inflitrated across the bordr from Kosovo during a time of serious political crisis. The group issued demands and said it is there to bring down the VMRO-DPMNE led Government of Nikola Gruevski. Dozens of officers were also injured in the fighting, which had to be conducted house to house to avoid potential civilian casualties.

Albanian parties in Macedonia demand, as part of their Tirana platform, that the case agains tthe terrorists is re-examined and that they are released. Given the constantly growing political clout of the Albanian parties in Macedonia, especially after their combined votes decided the outcome of the presidential elections, the Zaev Government is left under pressure to push the judiciary and meet their demands.
