Only 15 percent of young people in Macedonia see themselves as atheists

A poll conducted by the Institute for political research – Skopje found that only 15 percent of people aged 18 to 35 see themselves as atheists.

The poll, aimed at researching religious affiliation among young people, showed that 51 percent see themselves as religious, and 34 percent as “somewhat religious”.

Additionally, 42 percent said that the country fully protects religious liberties, while 36 percent said that it “somewhat protects” these rights.
