President Stevo Pendarovski extended Sunday a video Easter message.

Today is the greatest Christian holiday, the Resurrection of Christ, which caries within the powerful message that life always wins. I wish Easter to bring peace, harmony and joy into your homes, sharing them with your loved ones. I would normally extend this message following the church services attended by a large number of people, but this year we have a different kind of Easter. Due to the global crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, we are welcoming this holiday in our homes, in a different atmosphere, says President Pendarovski.

He says some citizens are on the front lines of this fight, doing their job day and night, ensuring that everyone else stays at home, preserving our health and our lives.

Let Easter serve as a reminder that faith, courage and patience will lead us through this difficult period and teach us the most important lesson of life – the need for more equality, responsibility, solidarity and respect. I wish you a Happy Easter. Christ is Risen!, says President Pendarovski.
