VMRO-DPMNE’s Secretary General Igor Janusev together with VMRO-DPMNE’s IC member Ivanka Vasilevska and strategic partner Lazar Jovevski met with pensioners on Thursday.

At the meeting, the pensioners expressed their dissatisfaction with the policies that the SDSM government and Zoran Zaev have been conducting for the past three years.

Pensioners emphasized that SDSM and Zaev lied and manipulated when they promised to improve their standard and increase their pensions, pointing to the recent increase of pensions of only 36 denars, adding that they felt humiliated and betrayed by Zaev and SDSM.

At the meeting it was concluded that around 40% of the pensioners in the Republic of Macedonia receive below 12,000 MKD pension, ie that half of the pensioners are on the threshold of economic survival, even below that threshold.

The previous VMRO-DPMNE-led government adopted a series of projects and measures for this group of citizens, but as the pensioners said at the meeting, the SDSM government, Zaev and Carovska, have revoked them by not taking care of the pensioners.

VMRO-DPMNE promises that with the formation of the new government, it will introduce measures and projects for all categories of citizens including pensioners and their needs and demands for a better and higher standard.
