Polish President Andrzej Duda arrived late Thursday for an official visit to Macedonia, including meetings with host Stevo Pendarovski, Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi and Prime Minister Zoran Zaev.

President Duda was welcomed at the Skopje Airport by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani.

Welcome to Macedonia President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda. This visit is a confirmation of the traditional friendship between Macedonia and Poland, which has recently been strengthened with our alliance in NATO. We especially appreciate the sincere support for the European integration of our country, through which we strengthen our friendly ties, Osmani wrote on Facebook after welcoming Duda.
