Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex is paying May 14-17 an official visit to Slovenia, Macedonia and Croatia. He arrived Wednesday at the Skopje airport where he was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Radmila Sekerinska.

Prince Edward will hold a bilateral meeting with Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski, and together with Prime Minister Zoran Zaev will attend a reception with Chevening scholarship holders of the British government, as well as young leaders and educators.

During the visit, he will be informed about the assistance that the United Kingdom offers for our country in the field of early childhood development and education, as well as about different field that connect the two countries.

This is Prince Edward’s second visit to Macedonia. In 2006 he opened the new premises of the British Embassy.
