Organized crime prosecutor Vilma Ruskoska sent out a written explanation to the Council of Public Prosecutors, after she was called out over the threat she made to the Skopje Appeals Court.
The court decided to allow former Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva out of detention and into house arrest, which prompted an angry outburst from Ruskoska, who is prosecuting Janeva.

Just as Janeva used to threaten judges when a decision in one of her politically driven cases wouldn’t go her way, now Ruskoska threatened the judges who released Janeva with an investigation into their financial situation and texted at least one of them that she will make them “quake in their pants”.

Ruskoska was initially summoned before the Council of Public Prosecutors, after the judges insisted that her actions constitute unacceptable level of intimidation of the Appeals Court. Ultimately, she decided to provide a written response. Meanwhile Prime Minister Zoran Zaev called on the parties, all of whom are known to do his bidding, to get back to being more cooperative with each other.
