Protests will continue tomorrow, with rallies in Kumanovo, Tetovo, Kavadarci, Bitola and Ohrid. The opposition VMRO-DPMNE party held a major rally this afternoon in the capital Skopje, in protest after Zoran Zaev’s acceptance of practically all demands put forward by Bulgaria.
The rally in Skopje began as a “drive-through” protest to protect participants from the coronavirus, but crowds continued to flock in front of the Government building. From the rally, Mickoski called on Zaev to resign, and invited the SDSM party supporters who are also aghast of their party leader to join the rallies.
