Protests will be held in 11 cities tomorrow, in revolt against Zoran Zaev’s apparent readiness to accept all of the demands Bulgaria puts before him. This will be the fourth day of protests after Zaev’s scandalous BGNES interview, in which he agreed to redefine the historic narrative of the partisan struggle and the Bulgarian occupation during the Second World War, and blurred the distinction between the two nations.

We continue together, against the selling out of our fatherlands. The people are awaking and there is no turning back, said VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski, whose party is organizing the protests.

The rallies are scheduled in Struga, Gostivar, Kicevo, Makedonski Brod, Krusevo, Kriva Palanka, Kratovo, Sveti Nikole, Negotino, Gevgelija and Zaev’s own Strumica. They begin at 18h.
