Senada Sali is a former student of the Secretary General of the Government, Dragi Raskovski. She now works as a lawyer at the European Roma Rights Center and says she is disappointed by her former professor, saying that she never believed that he could have stereotypes about the Roma people.

The regime has not changed for the Romas, because stereotypes still exist, even among politicians, Senada adds, who is most disappointed by the impunity of those who offend the Roma people.

The leader of the opposition Democratic Forces of the Roma, Saban Saliu, says that Raskovski’s words impinge on the feelings of the Roma, and if it is proved that there were irregularities in the tender procedure, then, according to the party, Raskovski should resign.

However, the partner in the government coalition, MP Samka Ibraimovski, thinks differently. He says everyone is mistaken, so after Raskovski apologized, the Roma should forgive him for the mistake, which, as Ibraimovski says, there is no need to resign.

The other coalition partner, Amdi Bajram, justified Raskovski, saying that he may have used the expression in euphoria. The Secretary General of the Government, Raskovski apologized to the Roma, as well as to the Italians for the words that he used in a conversation during a meeting in the Government.
