The SDSM party held a meeting of its Central Committee today to discuss the criminal scandal develpoing around outgoing Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva and suspected high level SDSM officials.

Party Secretary General Ljupco Nikolovski was asked after the meeting whether the two top party officials, presented in public under code names “Kiki and Friki” were present at the meeting, but he refused to answer. The two are largely known in the public but, to avoid libel charges, the press is using the codes to refer to them.

Nikoloski said that a large number of members of Parliament were present at the meeting and that all were “unanimous in their commitment to fight crime”. Both “Kiki” and the female “Friki” are believed to be members of Parliament for SDSM and they were reportedly working together with the cross dressing showman and 1TV television owner Bojan Jovanovski – Boki to extort money from businessmen. The group used its proximity to the Zoran Zaev Government and to Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva to pressure businessmen to give “charity donations” to Boki 13 or to purchase “ads” in his television.
