Despite the public efforts of some of the political structures that Macedonia must have clean elections, the spokesperson of presidential candidate Gordana Siljanovska Davkova informed at a press conference on Tuesday that Siljanovska’s election headquarters has evidence of serious violations of the election process.

An anonymous person – a whistleblower submitted a document indicating serious violation of the election process and several laws that violate a large number of personal rights of the citizens of Macedonia, spokesperson Goran Momirovski informed.

According to Momirovski, it is clear from the document that there are indications that with the help of an application for smartphones with android operating system, not only the Electoral Code has been violated, but also other fundamental values of the Macedonian constitutional system.

He explained that through this application the field activists of SDSM collect and store personal data of citizens without their permission. These data, contrary to all positive legal regulations, are under the control of the ruling party and are likely to be used for other activities in order to influence voting, but also for other political purposes of the government.

According to the documents we received, we are seriously concerned that the personal identification number of the citizens is being abused, control of personal contacts and the so-called geolocation, ie monitoring the movement of citizens is being carried out, and in this way, severe abuse occurs in the election process.
