Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Radmila Shekerinska addressing a public debate in Karpos on Monday urged citizens for support of a mandate to what they have done in the past two years by resolving open issues with neighbors, and opening doors to NATO and negotiations with the European Union for every citizen in the country.

The citizens in the first round of voting sent us the message that they are dissatisfied with what we did. That is right, and the government in the future will work to reduce this dissatisfaction. But now, Shekerinska stressed, we need the mandate to fulfill the obligation to retire Nikola Gruevski’s regime forever, but also his followers.

It is absolutely not all the same what will happen on 5 May. Everything we have done now must be brought to the finish line, we must finish it. We will ask for responsibility from anyone who disappointed your trust, Shekerinska said.
