Slovenian President Borut Pahor, who is a close friend of the Macedonian social-democratic leadership, expressed his dissappointment in the Bulgarian veto that blocked the opening of EU accession talks.

During the 2BS regional conference, Pahor said that the veto is discouraging for the whole of the Balkans, especially after Macedonia did all it was asked to do. “My job is to keep reminding my colleagues that this issue can’t be ignored”, Pahor said.
