Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski and Slovenian counterpart Aleš Hojs signed an inter-governmental implementation protocol in the fight against human trafficking in Skopje on Friday.

This bilateral document is one of the many signed in recently, whose primary goal will be cooperation in the prevention of human trafficking and all forms of child abuse. The implementation protocol envisages the implementation of joint projects to raise public awareness for prevention in the field of combating human trafficking.

After yesterday’s joint celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Slovenia, showing once again the mutual commitment for cooperation and closeness of the two friendly nations, today Minister Spasovski has a working meeting with his Slovenian counterpart where a number of topics of common interest were discussed. In addition, the excellent cooperation between the two ministries so far was jointly assessed, with great prospects for its deepening.
