The European Commission’s update report on Macedonia is excellent and reaffirms the government’s efforts to implement reforms, interim Prime Minister Oliver Spasovski said Tuesday, during his visit to the Tabanovce border crossing.

The report clearly states that the Government has stepped up its efforts to implement the reforms, outlining what has been done, giving the most positive assessments, taking all measures to be taken in the reform process and that is a good basis to start accession negotiations with the EU as soon as possible, said Spasovski.

According to him, it is logical to expect to get what has been deserved, especially the citizens who, as he said, have been working in transitions and reforms for 30 years.

Today, when all EU member states point out that the country has done everything that needed to be done, it is normal that I finally expect to open the negotiations with the EU, said Spasovski.
