The government does not know when or how many vaccines it will receive from Bulgaria, Greece or Poland, spokesperson Dusko Arsovski said answering a journalist’s question at Wedesday’s press conference.

We still do not know how many vaccines Macedonia will receive from Bulgaria. The plan is a portion of the shipment that will arrive in Bulgaria to go for Macedonia, said Arsovski.

Arsovski also failed to provide an answer how many vaccines have been agreed and when Macedonia will receive the vaccines from Greece and Poland.

Part of the first shipment that will arrive in Greece, will be intended for our citizens, but at this moment we could not give a precise answer. We would know most precisely at the beginning of next year, said Arsovski.

Answering a journalist’s question when Macedonia will receive the vaccines through the COVAX program and when Macedonian citizens will have access to these vaccines, given that vaccination in Serbia starts today, the spokesperson said that Macedonia is not just waiting for donations and has done all necessary steps and procedures for procurement of vaccines on time.
