Out of 2,995 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 984 new cases were registered and 24 passed away, the Health Ministry said on Saturday.

Among the patients who passed away, 12 are from Skopje (aged 35, 36, 75, 64, 60, 71, 69, 79, 70, 61, 74, 80), two from Kumanovo (aged 62 and 77), one patient from Struga (aged 73), one from Veles (aged 76), three from Bitola (aged 60, 81 and 55), one from Ohrid (aged 63), one from Strumica (aged 56), one from Kriva Palanka (aged 53), one from Kocani (aged 42) and one patient from Kicevo (aged 65).

New cases were registered in: Skopje-398, Kumanovo-47, Debar-11, Stip-46, Prilep-59, Tetovo-44, Struga-15, Veles-32, Bitola-46, Ohrid-28, Kavadarci-29, Gostivar-46, Gevgelija- 22, Strumica-24, Kriva Palanka-3, Radovis-8, Krusevo-1, Kocani-11, Probistip-4, Demir Hisar-1, Makedonski Brod-3, Pehcevo-2, Berovo-15, Valandovo-2, Vinica -1, Delcevo-26, Kratovo-4, Sveti Nikole-8, Kicevo-22, Resen-11, Negotino-15.

The Public Health Institute registered today 631 recovered patients from all over the country.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 67,311 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 42,872 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 1,901. At the moment, there are 22,538 active cases across the country.
