VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski in an interview with TV Alsat M pointed out that VMRO-DPMNE’s position on the name issue is crystal clear. He stressed that the citizens expressed their opinion regarding how they want to call their country in the referendum held on September 8, 1991, when the vast majority voted for the Republic of Macedonia, independent and sovereign.

We are crystal clear and in our position. The only valid legal document in this state that determines statehood is a result of the will of the citizens in 1991 when the vast majority of citizens of this country said that this is the Republic of Macedonia, a sovereign and independent state. And there is no dilemma here, stressed Mickoski.

Mickoski noted that everything else is a result of politicians, corrupted, blackmailed and pressured to do something they are ashamed of today and which is really against the interests of the Macedonian people, the Macedonian nation and the Macedonian state.

In order to go a step back, we need 80 deputies and Badinter majority, says Mickoski.
