Three people were attacked by dogs yesterday, one of them in Kumanovo and two in Skopje’s Aerodrom district.
The attack in Kumanovo occurred early in the morning, and the victim was a 47 year old woman who was bit on the leg. In Skopje, both attacked were men, and they were also bit on the legs.
Skopje and other cities across Macedonia have an acute stray dogs problem. It was just announced that the main shelter in Skopje will be closed for 30 days, and no new dogs will be brought there, after animal rights groups complained about the conditions the animals are kept in.
