Guards in the Shutka prison seized three phones from prisoners, after a photograph of Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13 was leaked to the public.
The owners of the phones will be punished. I guarantee that none of the prison guards were involved in this, said warden Esad Rahik.
The grainy photograph showed Boki 13 taking a walk in the yard with another prisoner.
Rahik allowed Boki 13 into the least decrepit wing of the prison. Rahik’s daughter works for Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva, who is a long term friend with Boki 13 and a suspect in his extortion case, and this was believed to have ensured favorable treatment for Boki.
