VMRO-DPMNE’s leader Hristijan Mickoski will not attend the Security Council meeting, “Republika” learns from party sources.

So far, there has been no established practice of having an opposition leader at a Security Council meeting unless it is required by the level of classification of the information to be discussed according to the complexity of the situation. The current meeting has a low level of “internal” classification, which speaks about the formality of the meeting itself. If a meeting with a higher level of classification of information is held in the future, and this is required by the possible complexity of the situation, President Mickoski in the interest of the citizens and the interests of the Republic of Macedonia, expresses readiness to attend the meeting, party sources say.
