46,16% of the registered 1,781 voters have voted until 19 h in the 32 diplomatic-consular offices of Macedonia for the sixth presidential elections.

Six polling stations in the United States and Canada are still open, where the vote runs until 19 h according to the time zone of the country where the vote is being held.

As the State Electoral Commission spokesperson Ljupka Gugucevska informed Saturday at a press conference, highest turnout until 19 h was in Bucharest with 64.29 %, Sarajevo with 78,57 percent, Brussels 63,27 percent, Berlin 63,16, while the lowest turnout was in Rome with 28 % and Abu Dhabi 20 %.

At the polling stations in 13 prisons, 74,13 % of the registered 1640 have voted. Today, seven voters also voted as internally displaced persons, as well as 4,407 citizens reported as sick and 12 in house arrest. For the first time, there was voting at two old people’s homes in Skopje, where 65 of the registered 71 voters, or 91,54% exercised their right to vote, said Gugucevska.

She stressed that according to the data from the municipal commissions, Saturday’s election day took place in a peaceful atmosphere, without interruptions in the voting and without irregularities.
