If VMRO-DPMNE succeeds in securing the support of 80 MPs, it will revise the constitution and return the name of the Republic of Macedonia, VMRO-DPMNE’s Vice President Aleksandar Nikoloski said TV24 on Wednesday.

Asked whether this would mean leaving NATO and stopping Euro-Atlantic processes, he said:

We will not leave NATO, because we naturally belong there. However, we believe that the price we paid for NATO membership is too high. That is why no politician has ever wanted to sign such an agreement, which is a betrayal of our national interests. We are ready to revise the Prespa Agreement, the benefits of which are unclear and undefined, Nikoloski said.
