Stojance Angelov, the populist politician appointed to the top position of the Crisis management center, assured the public that he has the situation under control after a crisis state was declared yesterday.

Angelov, a former mercenary known for stunts such as breaking tiles with his head, held a meeting of the crisis headquarters to declare afterwards that the situation in the country is calm, with no disturbances of the public law and order. By the end of the day his CUK center will advise on the number of police and military officers who will be mobilized for crowd control and other assistance in the hospitals.

Police services are tasked with identifying the main healthcare facilities that need to be secured for one shift and those that will need 24/7 security. Once the report is in, it will be determined what share of the task will be given to the police, and what to the army, Angelov said.
