Prime Minister Zoran Zaev insisted that he has no meeting with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov planned in the coming days. Earleir today, opposition leader Hristijan Mickoski said that Zaev is currently engaged in negotiations with Borisov in which he intends to accept all demands Bulgaria puts on the table.

I don’t have a scheduled meeting with Borisov. Talks are held at the level of working roups between our and the Bulgarian foreign ministers, Zaev said.

In ten days the European Council will meet and if Bulgaria is satisfied with the concessions it receives until then, it may allow Macedonia to open EU accession talks by the end of the year.
