We have settled five historical figures and three historical periods, this was confirmed by the Bulgarian side as well. We are ready to publish them and we are ready to start the implementation in the textbooks on both sides. We need to move on. I am convinced that with positive decisions we are building friendship, with negative decisions we are building bitterness, said Prime Minister Zoran Zaev during Sunday’s visit to the Strumica hospital.

Commenting on Bulgarian Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zakharieva’s latest statement, he stressed that the two peoples should not be separated, but should be brought closer. It is a historic call to politicians, Zaev said.

Zaev expressed hope that, as he said, friendly Bulgaria would remain on the line of friendship.

If they are not satisfied with something from the fulfillment of the agreement, they had the opportunity to veto or block 130 times through 34 chapters, said Zaev.
