A man in his twenties was shot soon after 8 pm on Friday evening in North London. Although the victim was immediately taken to the hospital, doctors were unable to save his life. No-one has been arrested so far in connection with the incident. The shooting is the 69th homicide in the British capital this year, the V4 news agency reported.

The 20-year old victim was found with gunshot wounds on the Harrow Road in Wembley, North West London. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance in a life-threatening condition, where he later died of his injuries.

London Metropolitan Police have informed the young man’s next of kin, but there has been no official information regarding the identity of the victim, reports the British Daily Mail.

There have been so far no arrests in connection with the incident. Authorities have appealed to the public to report any information related to the incident.
