Jordan Lechkov praised the Macedonian national football team, after its first ever qualification for the European Championship. The Bulgarian legend added that the Bulgarian team is declining because young people are losing interest in the game.

Just look at Macedonia, I’m not pointing them out only because they qualified, but just look at the clubs where their players are playing and then look at ours. We need to improve our league but our young people are losing interest, and that is our fault, Lechkov said.
