“Desire and will are the wings of great deeds. ”
Our Mark had a strong desire and a strong will to swim a section that is a real challenge for professional marathons, and let alone for a thirteen-year-old. However, severe leg pain forced him to quit the 64-kilometer solo marathon which he dedicated to people with rare diseases. Marko spent 4 hours 49 minutes in the waters of Lake Ohrid and swam 11 kilometers and 840 meters. Tomorrow, let all of us give our support and contribute to raising awareness of RARE DISEASES and be the ones to make a difference!, reads a post on Marko Pejchinovski’s Facebook page.
