Diesel is about to get even more expensive

The world is struggling with a shortage of diesel fuel caused by the US and Israel’s war with Iran. The most lacking is medium and heavy oil, from which diesel, kerosene and motor oils are made, writes Republika.rs.

The distillation of heavy oil yields a higher percentage of fuel oil, kerosene and diesel, which is the lifeblood of the global economy. drives trucks, ships, agricultural machinery and construction machinery.

In January, a barrel of diesel on the stock exchange cost about 115 USD, and today, October batches are bought for about 170. “Morgan and Stanley” and other world houses estimate that in October the price of a barrel of diesel will reach 185 USD, and that after the agricultural work season it will briefly fall to about 160. This price jump directly affects the growth of inflation throughout the world and the rise in prices of all “finished products”.

For stock market analysts, high diesel prices are a sign that the market no longer believes that negotiations will open the strait and that reserves will cover the deficit. It is a long-term oil trade scheme with blockades, sanctions, expensive shipping companies and the constant risk of new impact.
