Smoke from a forest fire felt in Skopje

The city of Skopje was affected by a cloud of smoke today, coming from a fire on the near-by Mt. Kitka.

The fire has been active for a while, but today the wind shifted and blew the smoke toward the city. A police helicopter was dispatched today to help put the fire under control.
