The rising oil and food prices have prompted Albanian citizens to flock to Macedonia for their shopping. Euronews Albania reports about the new practice, that has created long lines at the Struga border crossing.
Macedonia has the cheapest gas in the region, and the Government is planning to reduce the import duties to keep the prices manageable. This has caused lines in the border cities, as citizens of neighboring countries come to fill up.
