VMRO-DPMNE proposed a new law that would determine that members of the Macedonian Parliament can only hold the Macedonian citizenship. The proposal would limit holders of dual citizenships from assuming this office. Deputy Speaker Antonio Milososki today presented the proposal to the public.
Allegations of dual citizenship frequently follows holders of public office in Macedonia, and in past they have been weaponized by foreign countries.
