Three new investments announced in Skopje, Kicevo and Tetovo

The investment cycle in Macedonia continues. In addition to the companies that are already operating and creating new value, new significant investments will be realized in the coming period, and in parallel, the Government is negotiating with new companies that are interested in investing in our country, VMRO-DPMNE said in a statement.

The goal is to attract investments that bring new production, modern technologies, well-paid jobs and greater exports, while at the same time diversifying the economy and not depending on just one industry. One of the significant new investments is the investment of “Dzavo Otomotiv” in the Tetovo industrial zone. It is a multinational company, with more than four decades of experience in the automotive industry, a manufacturer of security systems, control cables and mechanisms for leading world manufacturers. In the period from 2026 to 2030, the company plans to invest around 20 to 21 million euros, and according to the business plan, the creation of 400 to 500 new jobs is expected. The plan also envisages exports that would reach around 45 million euros annually.

In the TIRZ Skopje 1 zone, the construction of the new factory of “Cagatay Kablo” has begun. The investment is worth about 6 million euros, will include a production facility of 10,000 square meters and will provide up to 200 new jobs.

Investments in modern and high-tech industries are also particularly significant. In TIRZ Kicevo, the construction of the factory for electronic batteries for cars of the Belgian company “Avesta Batteries and Engineering” has begun, while the German “BMZ Group” has realized an investment of 65 million euros in the production of lithium-ion batteries, with 700 new jobs planned. This group also includes the investment of “Epsotech” for a development and research center and the investment of the American “Webtech” for the production of brakes for rail vehicles.
